The Bias Analysis feature can be found in the sidebar. It allows you to see the political leaning of news publications mentioning your selected keyword.
Please note, that the Bias Analysis feature depends on Keyword Monitoring to be set up in order to work.
The keyword to analyze bias for can be selected at the top of the page.
Bias analytics
The Bias Analysis feature provides the following data:
AI insights: an overview of the bias landscape, the current discussion topic, and the sentiment behind the conversations.
Top sources: share of mentions by news outlets.
Bias overview: share of political leaning of mentions.
Mentions: political leaning of mentions over time.
Mentions from popular outlets: a list of the most impactful articles with analyzed bias.
Left/right-leaning mentions: a list of the most impactful articles from left and right-leaning sources.
Filters
The filters in the pane on the right allow to for narrowing source analysis down.
You can set the timeframe, choose to include or exclude articles with certain sentiment from the analysis, and filter outlets based on their reliability score.
