Outline
Keyword monitoring is the core feature of the platform that can be found in the sidebar. Most other features depend on keyword monitoring to be set up in order for them to work.
Keyword monitoring allows you to collect updates from both traditional and social media that mention the keyword you specify.
Adding keywords to monitor
A keyword can be a word or a phrase. To start monitoring it, type your keyword in the search bar at the top of the page, then click "Add" next to the desired keyword in the drop-down.
Once you click "Add", the platform will start collecting all updates across the Internet that mention this keyword, gathering them into a single feed.
Keyword feed
All your monitored keywords can be found in this drop down next to the search bar. Selecting a keyword from this list will display the feed of updates that mention this keyword.
The feed displays a list of update overviews. These overviews have useful information, analytics, and controls embedded:
Header: displays source, author, and publication time.
Body: displays a preview of the contents of the publication.
Analytics: displays platform-specific analytics such as interactions and impressions, and the sentiment analysis tag that denotes the tone of the publication.
Controls:
Mute source/author: allows you to exclude updates from this source/author from your keyword feed. The platform will stop collecting updates mentioning this keyword from this author.
Save: allows you to save the update to the Saved stories, found in your sidebar, for future reference.
Share: allows you to share this update with your team members. Stories that you share can be found in Shared stories in your sidebar.
Visit: allows you to view the original publication.
Keyword feed filters
Filters can be found on the right of your feed. These filters allow you to narrow your search down by looking for specific sources, authors, or sentiment.
