Outline
The Custom Timelines feature can be found in the sidebar. It allows you to monitor news and social media sources instead of keywords.
Creating a custom timeline
To create a new timeline, click "+ New timeline" in the pane on the right. If you haven't used Custom Timelines before, you will be taken to timeline creation automatically.
Custom Timelines allows you to create a custom feed of updates that will display all updates published by the sources you select.
To add news outlets, click "news outlets" and select the publications you are interested in.
To add social media accounts, select the required platform and provide the link to the account you wish to monitor.
Name the timeline, and click "Create timeline".
Created timelines can be found in the pane on the right.
Timeline feed
The timeline feed displays update overviews with platform-specific data, analytics, and controls.
Header: shows source, author, and publication time.
Body: provides an overview of the update.
Analytics: shows a sentiment tag.
Controls: allows you to save stories for later reference, share them with your team members, and view the original publication.
Filters
The filters can be found in the pane on the right.
They allow you to narrow your search down by displaying specific sources, sentiment, and authors within your custom timeline.
